Buro Plek is an architectural firm founded in 2024 by Jeannette Bisseling. Jeannette completed her studies in Civil Engineering at Saxion University and Architecture at Delft University of Technology (TU Delft). Following her graduation, she gained valuable experience working with contractors, architectural firms, and municipalities, where she served as an advisor in housing, heritage, and the physical environment.

Her diverse background has convinced her that there is room for change within architecture. “I strongly believe in a collaboration between client and architect, where decisions are not solely made by the architect, but where the desires and needs of the client are at the forefront,” says Jeannette. “I am convinced that people themselves know best what their living environment needs. My role is to translate these desires and make them achievable.”
